Critically acclaimed iOS game available free for a limited time

The free campaign lasts for one week

TAMPERE, Finland, April 19th, 2012 - TAMPERE, Finland, April 19th, 2012 - Prank Ltd, an independent game developer and publisher, has announced the free availability of its critically acclaimed iOS game Ant Raid at Apple's App Store. The campaign starts this Friday - April 20th 2012 - and lasts for one week, until the end of Thursday April 26th. The price removal covers both versions, the original Ant Raid that was released for iPad on July 2011 for $2.99, and Ant Raid for iPhone released on January 2012 for $0.99.

Ever since its release date, Ant Raid has enjoyed a wild success among reviewers. With 90 out of 100 review score average, the game is listed as the all-time 2nd highest scoring iOS strategy game in Metacritic, where it was also recognized as the 8th best iPad game of 2011. The more recently published iPhone version has also enjoyed the spotlight, as it was listed as #1 game of Q1 2012 in iPhone Quality Index, with a review score average of 9.5 out of 10.

Ant Raid is a lightweight RTS-type-of game playing around a cheerful horror theme. Players help a vibrant colony of ants survive swarms of fellow insects, mutated into mindless monsters by the toxic fumes of insecticide. Ant Raid contains 100 playable levels, 4 endless modes, 300 collectible stars, 24 enemy types, Game Center support for 47 Achievements and 5 world-wide Leaderboards and a complete localization support for 8 languages.
