TAMPERE, Finland, September 27th, 2011 - Prank Ltd, an independent game developer and publisher, has announced the upcoming update of Ant Raid, a critically acclaimed game for iPad. Version 1.2.0 appears on App Store this Thursday - September 29th - and will support a multitude of languages including English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Hungarian and Finnish. Additionally, a completely new power-up item is introduced to help players surpass some of the hardest parts of the game. To celebrate the event, the price of Ant Raid will be dropped from $2.99 to $0.99 for the rest of the week, starting this Thursday. Users who have purchased the game will be eligible for the upgrade for free.
"Though the reviews and user-feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, a number of non-native English speakers have felt they are missing out on the storyline. Additionally, some of the harder levels turned out slightly too difficult for less-seasoned players. Since we want as many people as possible - regardless of age, nationality or gaming background - to be able to enjoy Ant Raid to its fullest, this update was definitely needed" says Seppo Santapukki, the Creative Director of Prank.
